I got a notice today from WordPress that I joined them five years ago today.

On top of all the things I have posted about, here are a few stats: there have been 11,563 views on my blog, with 3,673 unique visits from about 45 different countries on 365 posts I have in the blog. I have deleted a few posts which probably skewed the figures lower, but these are the numbers I am currently at as of this posting.

Thanks to those of you who have been looking at my blog, both long-time and short-time, plus you first-timers! Some of you have been reading this blog from the very first post and a big thank you goes out to you. Your support is greatly appreciated and I hope to keep it interesting enough for everyone. The fact that all of you take time out of your life to read what I post is pretty nice of you to do, and that you continue to do so is really heartwarming. I never really thought much about how successful or not this endeavor would be, and that was not the point of doing it.
