What do you enjoy most about writing?

I have always been a language nerd. Even when I was young I enjoyed creative use of language and clever wordplay. I enjoyed creative writing in high school and it carried over into college nearly 20 years later, where I did a memorable critique of “If Men Could Menstruate” by Gloria Steinem that had the class in stitches. Yeah, that’s right…got a big fat “A” on it.

I enjoy the creativity involved in writing things like this blog or when I have written songs. I also like creative ways of saying things and it’s how I approach songwriting.

It’s a very rewarding thing to create something, and it’s even more rewarding when others appreciate what you have written.

And it’s better yet when all of you keep coming back for more!
