What TV shows did you watch as a kid?

Gonna be showing my age on this one!

The original Batman TV series with Adam West and Burt Ward (I remember seeing the 1943 Batman movie at the drive-in when I was a kid in the 1960s and thought “WTF is this?!” The “Batmobile was a Cadillac!).

The old original monster movies – “Frankenstein”, “Dracula”, “The Mummy”, “The Invisible Man” and such. Those movies could scare the bejeezus out of you with no violence – it was implored but not on-screen.

I always thought “Green Acres” was hilarious, and it was the best of all the related series.

I always loved all the “Looney Tunes” and “Merrie Melodies”.

I liked watching “The Banana Splits” mainly because of their 6-wheel ATVs.

“Johnny Quest” was okay and really the first animated series I remember that had a plot and a seriousness about it.

Things changed when I discovered “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”. I really got into that humor and I remember me & my friends talking & laughing about the skits the next day in school.

That is bout all I can think of at the moment.
