I posted a few years back about a meal I had with two coworkers at an Italian restaurant in Washington state. My portion of the bill was $86.
Was it worth it? Hell yeah it was. We shared our main courses with each other so we could try different things. The food was outstanding and I got to try grappa for the first time.
Grappa is a spirit distilled from grape skins after the grapes are used to make wine. Much like the poitín I had in Ireland, grappa is not for the weak.
But, you will never know that if you never try new things!
