Well…another day…another kidney stone.

I ended up at Urgent Care and had to have a CT scan after having some rather concerning symptoms this morning. Apparently the remaining kidney stone that was supposed to stay put now wants to travel as much as I do. I think it probably could have been brought on by drinking 100 oz. of water every day to keep from getting kidney stones. Go figure. This one has been different than the last in some ways that do not need details.

I had to stay an extra day here today waiting for one more prescription refill for my regular meds and hoped to take advantage of it by doing some walking around the park with the dogs but it did not end up that way. Looks like it will have to wait until next time I am in town as I am hoping to get on the road early tomorrow morning and make my getaway to points west. I have been on the go since Monday and I really need some down time for me.

I also have not had any time at all to play with things in my new vehicle but earlier tonight I got the owner’s manual out and looked through it for some things I needed to know. I will definitely need to get up to speed on the trailer towing.

The wind is just ferocious outside tonight. It is shaking the trailer pretty good and I can hear it when there’s gusts of wind. Of course the dogs are passed out on the floor. It is looking like a decent day for driving. I found a good travel weather website I will try out the next few trips, but according to their forecast on my route I believe I can get a few extra miles in.
