I saw the cardiologist a couple weeks ago and everything was fine, but he limited me to lifting no more than 20lbs. Other than immediately after my bypass surgery, this is the first I have had anyone limit how much to pick up. It was a real pain being limited while trying to finish emptying the house.
However, I discovered another issue with it as I was moving the trailer over. I opened up the side hatch and got a wrench out to pull the stabilizers up and I saw the monstrosity known as my equalizer hitch in the compartment. I had to put it into the receiver on my truck.
It weighs 100 lbs.
This hitch is the same reason I had to have hernia surgery a few years ago right after i got my trailer. I remember picking up the hitch and suddenly there was a weird pain. It is pretty heavy & easy to get hurt trying to install it.
So, this presents a real dilemma. I cannot be hoisting this hitch around per cardiologist orders; I am going to need to get rid of the trailer and that’s pretty much the bottom line. I also need a newer vehicle so this may actually be an opportune time to do both.
💨🥶
Yeah, it was cold and blowing but made it through okay. It is warming up in time for the first day of Spring – a very welcomed change.
That is it for now. See you again soon.
