Last night I got a really nice comment from someone reading my blog. We tossed a few notes to & fro through the “Comments” and I realized that when I replied they were automatically “approved” and on the air live.

Oops.

Luckily it was late so I was able to unapprove our chats for public consumption. There was nothing in there to really see – just two humans sharing a great conversation – but I like privacy. I needed to do this differently so people can contact me without the comments going out for all to see.

After a lot of looking at this into the wee hours I was finally able to find the info to set up a way for people to email me. I was tired but by golly…I was gonna find a solution before I went to bed no matter how tired I was. I got it set up this morning. You can still comment in the appropriate place if you want.

I tested it just now to make sure it works and to see what it looks like on the user side. Everything works fine and it just shows the sender their name, email, and message.

This will work much better than the previous method and it all stays private outside of the sender and me. Along those lines, your email info will stay private with me; with my fondness for some expectation of privacy I do the same for others. If you do want a reply I will be more than happy to chat.

As for last night’s “conversation”, it was nice chatting with you – you know who you are! I do not know if you saw all of my comments before I pulled them back to “Pending” but I hope you did.
