What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

Growing up it was Monopoly. Odd to think that was possible given my opinion of greed and corruption. But, it was fun.

Of course, cards are always an option. I have played Solitaire so many times, Hearts and Spades are always fun bidding with partners.

I went through a Backgammon phase for a long time and really liked it quite a bit.

Growing up at the onset of video games – Space Invaders, Pong, Centipede, etc. – I never really got sucked into it. I played a little, but nothing was really drawing me to them.

These days I might do a word game on my iPad (helps keep the mind sharp) but that is about it. I do carry a deck of cards in my trailer so I can play old-school Solitaire. If someone comes by to hang out we could play a few hands of something.
