How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?
As someone with a very addictive personality, I really have not gotten hooked on my devices.
It is fairly surprising given that I have that type of personality but for me it’s more of a timesuck and endless rabbithole with a lot of useless garbage to wade through. Phones are tools to get things done for me and not a habit. I see it constantly in others – cannot even acknowledge the clerks at the store because of their phone, and cannot pump gas without letting FB know. I find that incredulous.
It is sad, really.
Luckily, dealing with my addictive personality all these years I know when to stop things I am doing. But, with electronics the addiction never took. I stop when I am done doing what I am trying to do.
