Oh, and Another Thing…; Travel

…to do is make sure if you have an awning on your trailer or RV you need to extend it out after a rain or even every week or so to make sure it’s dry. If not they can rot, mold/mildew and/or smell bad. It doesn’t take long in the sun and takes no effort. Just make sure if it has a hanging curtain it is unrolled as well.

I saw an article talking about “is it okay to repeatedly return to the same spot over and over and over”. That a pretty dumbass question. They were basically asking if that’s okay. Why the hell would you think it’s not? I admit I don’t really understand it since there’s so much to see in the world, but I have done it myself. However, I don’t return to the same places year after year.

The thing is it’s your trip and you can do what YOU want to do so eff everyone else. Kinda like pineapple on a pizza. People will say crap like “it’s wrong” or “it should be illegal“. If you don’t like it don’t eat it and STFU about it. It’s not your business so why do you care? I absolutely HATE mayonnaise but just like a pizza topping that don’t mean it’s wrong.

Unless that topping is mayonnaise.

There are a few places I have been to in Europe on both trips. I did that because there were some big things I wanted to show my daughters that I saw the first time, like Amsterdam and the Köln cathedral. I would do that here on road trips as well; there are several places I think are worth taking someone to for their first time even if I have been there already.

The thing is that you are fairly free to do what the hell you want to do with your life and go where you want. Nobody else is in the equation other than your travel partner(s) so the opinions of others means zilch. And, there ARE places worthy of a second look…but you won’t know if you keep going to the same damn place!

I think I’m going to call it good for this post. Thanks for having a look and be sure to check back for new posts and updates on the upcoming video channel!
